As the girls get older Halloween gets more and more exciting for them and for me. I’m not the adult that likes to dress up BUT I love helping my girls with their costumes every year. The extent of my annual Halloween photos of the girls are usually 1 or 2 snapshots in front of our home but this year I paired up with two of my photo besties and dear friends Amy Salessi & Valerie Ackerman on a very special shoot and I was able to capture my “Lost Girls” in more than just a couple of photos in our version of Peter Pan!
The way this shoot came about was Amy’s little niece was born just a couple months ago and her mama wanted to dress her up as Tinkerbell for her first Halloween. Well, before you know it a full blown Peter Pan shoot was born. We had 13 kids, a limited amount of time, sunlight…and patience…. AND with a few helping hands from prop building to on set assistance on the day of the shoot… we pulled it off! So much fun.! Looking forward to more collaborations with Amy & Val in the near future.
